Hi, I am an Aussie with Vietnamese parents. I have travelled to VN 8 times over the past 11 years, and now think its time to do a 12 month gap year. Should be moving to HCMC in April 2014, thats the plan anyway! :) What do I like? Well thats easy: travel, work and enjoying life in a open minded perspective. Hope i get to meet heaps of people and do lots of cool new things. I love food, books, a making people laugh, and chilling out with interesting people to talk about anything. Shall be expanding my property marketing consultancy into Asia, and will use HCMC as a base for the work we do in Asia. Should be there for a good year starting off in the later half of 2013.
Interests: travelling, meeting new people, cooking, reading, , basketball, movies, good conversations over coffee

What are some impressive resturant to take a first date in HCM? Any other advice for first dates? :P

If you wanna impress, take your date to SHRI, its one of the best restaurants in HCMC. It's on "Nguyen Thi Minh Khai" street, about under 10 minutes from the heart of the city. Absolutely lovely city views on the roof top, and delicious cocktails at ... Read More
