I am from Portland, CT. My husband and I live on a boat on the CT River. We are seriously considering retiring in Ecuador. We having been researching the area as much as we can from a distance. We would like to start a support group of people in the New England area who also want to move to Ecuador. We could share knowledge, practice Spanish together, whatever as we begin this new move. I thought it might be fun to meet like minded people beforehand and we could act as connections as each person or couple moves. If anyone is interested let us know. We hope to retire and get our things in order in about a year or so. I am a teacher and my husband is a college volleyball coach.
