I am close to retirement (1/09) after 40 years of effective teaching of Italian and Latin language and literature. I loved the I have been divorced for 30 years and have no partner. I have two completely independent children. Both of them have no children, therefore, for me, it is easier to leave Italy, where I don't feel comfortable. I have to face "this adventure" alone and, therefore, I turn to you, who will, I hope, be my new friends to decide and, with my little dog and the cat, leave the mountains of the beautiful Garfagnana (called the Italian Switzerland) to spend less harsh winters and not sink into 50 cm of snow in the garden. I desperately need a mild climate in winter, to change... see other colours, breathe new air and relive the always magical experience of the desert, perhaps by organizing an outing to Trozeur. I'm thinking of taking an exploratory trip around October: would it be a good time to get to know each other? Thank you for the time you dedicate to reading me.
