About

Hi everyone, my name is Otmane, I am Spanish of Moroccan origin and I am delighted to be part of this blog. I live in a small seaside town in the Costa Brava called Roses, it is located in the north-east of Spain near the French border. I've lived there for about 20 years. My interest is to settle next year, if all goes well, (as the Muslims say, inshaalah), in Belgium, in Wallonia (French speaking), because I want to carry out my studies there in a Haute 脡cole either next year in September 2014 or in September 2015. Well, in fact I subscribed to this blog to find out what the living conditions are like in Belgium, and also if anyone can answer me these questions: - How much does rent cost approximately (the average) in Brussels, Li猫ge, Tournai and Mons. "I'm looking for a studio, one-bedroom apartment of 30 square meters maximum or student accommodation" - What are the administrative procedures that I must take when settling in Belgium and how should I do them? - In the health case, is it obligatory to have mutual insurance or is it just a recommendation? - What budget should be planned each month for food, consumption charges for electricity, water, gas, etc.? - Once you find an apartment rental, can you vacate it or change when you find another better apartment? Or should we stay for the duration agreed between the resident and the owner? Are the adjustments to be made in the building the responsibility of those renting the room or apartment/studio or of the owner? And finally, is it difficult to find work in the 4 cities I mentioned above? Thank you in advance for your answers.
