Born with itchy, German feet, I left my home country at the age of 22. Now, 26 years later I live in Canada, my 7th country and 4th continent. This makes me an expert-expat of some sort? My decisions to move have nothing to do with the Armed Forced, working for big corporations or having inherited a good size trust fund- my business ventures weren't online based either. We do it for the sake of adventure - to show our three children that it's possible to live a dream - whatever the dream might be! They know the grass isn't greener on the other side - they also know today that it's quite easy to make new friends, all it takes is some effort and the will to do it!
