My wife (Maureen) and I are planning to retire to Cuenca, Ecuador. We have visited with many ex pats there via You Tube. It looks wonderful. We are looking to communicate with those who have recently moved to Ecuador from the U. S. to determine what and how much of our belongings to take with us, and the best way to ship our things to Cuenca. Any help that ex pats can provide is much appreciated.

I hear the weather in Cuenca is very similar to that in Seattle. Any related comments would be greatly appreciated.
I think that is rediculous as it snows in Seattle in the Winter, and I recall a time or two that it got very cold indeed. Like 8 degrees F. We are lucky to get 90 days of sunshine a year. This is not what I am anticipating in Cuenca. Read More
