My name is Hal Alexander Fu, here is a little intro of myself. The Past: Originally born in inner mongolia (northern most part of china), our whole family immigrated to NZ when I was little. We are based in Auckland. I went to palmy north for university and came back with a engineering degree, I've spent the last few years working in Auckland, wellington and Brisbane/GC, During which I have obtained a master degree in engineering management via auckland university. The Present: I currently work for a KIWI biotech company, namely Lanzatech as a project engineer/manager. As i am dual-lingual a good opportunity opened up as a result I took it and came to china. It's a place of many vague childhood memories but more so for me it is a place of many unfamiliarities, customs and culture. I still in many ways feel very much a tourist here however as time went by (Ive arrived July 2012) this feeling is diminishing fast and I really now start to gel with this huge country and its people and i hope many of you will carry the same feeling in no time. I am baased in beijing but work ensures i spend fair bit of time in Tangshan and Shanghai also. I love the outdoor and travelling, and when am in beijing or shanghai you normally find me in some watering holes, fancy or local... Love to meet more expats alike and together lets explore this wonderful sometimes strange nation and other nations around.
