About

I left America to make a change in the world, and ended up being changed by the world. Some might argue it was for the better, but I haven't yet found my way back. Home tends to change with the person, and what you left is as much who you were as where you were. When both change, what's there to go back to?

Hi Shayna, I talked to Siam Legal, and was considering using them, but some people pointed out to me that I would be paying close to 25,000 Thai money for the visa, when that is the cost of the entire one year language program - making them ... Read More

Hello Roger, When you get to town, go to the Ak Keme Hotel, which is way up Manas Ave. They have a monthly membership of about $200 per that is unlimited, and if you sign up for a year, it is $500 (this is off the top of my head). Their link is ... Read More

No problem. Another company has contacted me as well, but indicated that I should fly to Thailand and then get the paperwork and such sorted. Everything I have learned to date indicates that you absolutely can not legally change visa status to an ... Read More

Thanks again Mike. I've had a look over the sites. Getting a visa definitely looks a bit more involved then the law firm led me to believe it was. Very helpful responses, and your advice is much appreciated. Cheers, Henry Read More
