My expat journey

Marrakech, Morocco

Barcelona, Spain
At the moment looking for work and projects related to my profession
Architecture
the food
the peace of mind with which one can live, especially when there is job and economic stability
the politics and corruption that corrodes society and that the people refuse to eradicate
the lack of openness of people towards foreign things

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
In such a short time I didn't have time to do so many things that are impossible to do in Spain... especially for an ex-pat like me.
fit-out project management for retail and catering in airports
the warmth and openness of local and expat people.
The colonialist mentality of the people who are going to invest there... both with locals and with employees from countries that are not their own. No country is perfect and nothing gives anyone the right to treat others like trash no matter how "poor" a person's country of origin is. In the end we have ALL gone there for the same thing.... to look for economic opportunities. The discomfort of the way in which religion is lived there in particular. Not suitable for pro-atheists, radical agnostics or Catholic fundamentalists.

Barcelona, Spain
I got to do a master's degree.
I stayed for love...
cheesy but true
Work and Spain are 2 incompatible words at this moment.
It is a country where you can live well... calm and comfortable... there is a certain freedom and order at the same time.
People say they are very open and tolerant, but my impression is that on the contrary... there is a fear that sometimes touches on xenophobia, towards unknown things (which are many) and cultures different from the local one...

Caracas, Venezuela
I made my career and my first professional steps there.
Family, friends, landscapes, smells, sea, mountains... so many things that are hard to forget.
related to architecture and construction... especially with the latter
the food, the warmth of the people, the nature that makes its way despite the bad hand of man (and woman), the latent (untapped) potential of the country...
The corruption that people have become accustomed to
The insecurity that people live with every day
The policy that, far from seeking the advancement of the country, has the population immersed in idiocy, regardless of the side.
The obesity that is imposed on men and the unnaturalness that is imposed on women.
