About
I have lived in Canada since 1984; I have been a citizen of this country since 1995. I have worked there for many years as a French and English teacher.
I have a master's degree in French language and literature from the University of Geneva and a doctorate in French language and literature from the University of Manitoba, in Winnipeg, Canada.
I speak, read and write English perfectly. I read and speak Italian and German quite well but I really need to live in these countries to master these languages.
I am looking for a teaching position in Germany because German culture interests me a lot because I have studied philosophy and in particular German philosophers like Immanuel Kant. Right now, his books are my bedside books.
The Italian culture and language make me vibrate with joy and it would be an immense privilege to live anywhere in Italy, and to teach the French language there. In exchange, this would be the ideal opportunity to perfect my knowledge of Italian, and by visiting museums and other cultural places, I would deepen my knowledge of Italian culture.
Yes, I'm 64 years old and I've never felt better about myself. I have a huge desire to share what I know with young Europeans because I feel European.
I am therefore looking for a job teaching French in Germany or Italy.
Thank you in advance for enlightening me with your suggestions and advice.
