Originally from the North of France, I currently live, retired, in the South West. I lived in the Islands when I was thirty, Spain tempts me enough, Rosas, Empuriabrava, ... to find the sea and affordable prices, with a small fishing boat. I'm thinking of buying an apartment, three rooms, with mooring? It seems more complicated. Prices still seem to be falling. Or rent for the year first. Long journeys no longer tempt me, Spain is close and I have a daughter who is still young and lives in France.
