I am an Englishman living in France for many years. I have a lifetime passion for the restoration of old buildings and France has provided me with a rich source of projects, both for myself and for others. In the process I have mastered the 'art' of obtaining planning permission for renovations, alterations and construction in areas of listed building status and this keeps me busy, hopefully young for ever! I have remarried here in France to a French lady and am now finding a whole new life on the inside of French culture.
