The monthly tax will be around MYR 130 if you are single. And your employer is obligated to deduct from your monthly payroll. But this amount of tax only for resident status for the year. If not, the tax rate will be 26% flat rate. Read More

As long as you earn income from Malaysia, you are subject to tax no matter how many days you are present. In your case, it's a flat rate tax of 26% on your income. Read More
