Seattle, Washington, USA

In 2013, my wife and I moved from Seattle, Washington to live and work in Shanghai, China, leaving behind a married daughter, a son in college, an aging parent, brothers, sisters, and friends. We had never lived overseas and had limited experience traveling outside the United States. We wanted to share this adventure with everyone, so we posted pictures and wrote blogs about our living, traveling and adapting to life in another country. This is our story of living as expats in a foreign culture.
