Since its creation in 1884, the Franco-Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA) has always aimed to encourage and strengthen commercial relations between France and Argentina. It is one of the first French Chambers of Commerce and Industry abroad, along with those of Montevideo and Barcelona. Like all other French chambers of commerce abroad, the CCIFA is a non-profit private law association. Among its members are several subsidiaries of French and Argentinian companies linked to France. Its mission consists of representing them before the public or private authorities of the two countries and serving as a frame of reference for the defense of common interests.
