Hi, I am interested in relocating with my family, and am planning a trip to check things out next March/ April. I am planning to spend about a week there to narrow down the areas I am interested in, with major consideration to school for my elementary-age kids, budget, medical care, and safety. I plan to rent a home to live in while planning an eventual purchase. The property would have to have one main house, and a secondary guest or staff home. I don't have a huge budget, but I am pitching the move to my ex-husband (who would never let me take the kids out of the country without him, and would be living in the guest/ staff house), so it has to be nice, with a large lot. I have read about difficulty in finding available rentals, and would love some input!
