My expat journey

Barcelona, Spain
Freelance linguist. I work from home.
Location, location, location. 1.5 hours flight to Paris and Rome. Along Costa Brava and to Pyrenes, there are always things to do and places to go. The city steeped in past glory, scars and future ambitions. 19th century modernist buildings of Eixample and medieval alleys of Gotico, their charms have never worn out for me even after living here for 2 years.
Motor scooter noises, relatively amateurish services, pickpockets, shops closing early and often

New York, USA
Film student, barkeep, computer engineer, customer services personnel, liquor store clerk, wedding videographer's assistant, translator, project manager

Loneliness

Seoul, South Korea
Kid growing up
Language, food, nature.
I feel incompatible with the city.
