About
I am a diversified professional with a MS in Wellness and preventative health. I began my professional career as a clinical, diagnostic cardiovascular technician and clinical trial pharmaceutical researcher. I then embarked upon a eight year career in the consumer package goods industry, and have spent 12 years supporting a non-profit and serving my community as a crisis management counselor and grief and bereavement group counselor working with children ages five to 18-years-old.
My greatest professional joy has been working with both direct and indirect reports; mentoring each, and performing field training. I value team concepts, thus in order to be most efficient, each team member must be autonomous with authority to make decision so as to bring forth knowledgeable and expeditious results. I have a high affinity for others, and this is why I have been studying counseling. As a trained hospice volunteer, and that of a crisis counselor, I have learned to intimately interact with other during some of the most difficult times of life. My ability to actively listen and show compassion for the suffering is a gift that has been revealed to me with great anticipation.
I would welcome the prospect to learn more about this teaching endeavor, and thank you in advance for your consideration of my background and skill set. I look forward to hearing back regarding next steps!
Resepctfully,
