I have been visiting Togo since 2007 and have settled there permanently since January 2009. I like life here a lot, even if sometimes it is not very convenient :-) I really enjoy contact with people. I manage a cooperation project and work in an entirely Togolese team. Which means that my contact with other expatriates is very limited, however I am starting to know a little about Togolese customs :-)

I am a hydrogeologist and manage a project in the field of agriculture and rural water and sanitation.
The contact with people, my work which brings me a lot of new experiences and many other things.
The zem of course, the suffocating heat in February-March, the distrust with which the Togolese approach each other.
