My family and I live in France in the Gard near Avignon. We plan to move to Rodrigues Island. My husband being a dental technician, he would like to continue his activity there. We already have two French clients who would continue to work with us and we hope to be able to work with local dentists and those in Mauritius. So a lot of prospecting to do. We also have an 11 year old son. We have multiple questions today with no real answers. Can we settle permanently on the island and if so where to find out? How much money do we need to live in Rodrigues? Is it like in Mauritius? Our other big problem is that we have 2 Labrador dogs and two cats. Is it possible to bring them with us and if so how long does the quarantine last, we are told 1 month then 6 months and maybe less.
