Bonsoir, il me semble que les vaccins sont obligatoires uniquement pour ceux qui deviennent permanent resident. La liste est limitée et le médecin peut les faire pendant la visite médicale si tu n'est pas à jour (il y en avait 2 en apportanr mon carnet de vaccination et les vaccins. Pour un stage, je ne pense pas qu'il y ait une visite médicale étant donné que tu viens aux USA de façon temporaire (à confirmer par des stagiaires où par les organismes qui te permettent d'avoir un J1). Du moins pour la France. Après, les règles sont peut-être différentes pour les autres pays.

Mais j'ai toujours entendu parler que la visite médicale était uniquement pour les visas immigrants, pas pour les stagiaires.

J'aurais tendance a confirmer les dires de stevenmika.

La visite medicale concerne ceux qui vont avoir un visa immigrant (carte verte) et ne concerne pas les non immigrants.

Une question persiste! A propos du vaccin "Gardasil". Si je veux devenir "permanent resident" un jour. J'ai trouvé ceci sur le site "Center for Disease Control and Prevention:

"Is the human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) still required under the new vaccination criteria?

No. HPV does not meet the new vaccination criteria set by CDC and is not required for the immigrant medical exam.

HPV is not known to cause outbreaks. Also HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the United States and is not close to being eliminated at this time.

CDC will use the new vaccination criteria for vaccines recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to decide which vaccines will be required for U.S. immigration. The criteria will be used at regular periods, as needed.

The criteria are:

    The vaccine must be age-appropriate* for the immigrant applicant
    The vaccine must protect against a disease that has the potential to cause an outbreak.
    The vaccine must protect against a disease that has been eliminated or is in the process of being eliminated in the United States.

*ACIP recommends vaccines for a certain age range in the general U.S. public. These ACIP recommendations will be used to decide which vaccines are age-appropriate for the general immigrant population.

Ici, je pense comprendre que le vaccin serait recommandé pour une certaine tranche d'âge. Est-ce correcte?
Sur un autre site "US Citizenship and Immigration Services" j'ai trouvé cela:

However, the zoster vaccine was not available from Aug. 1, 2008, through Dec. 13, 2009, and USCIS posted a message on the Web to inform civil surgeons they could annotate the vaccination record with "not available" if they were not able to obtain the vaccine. In 2009, CDC changed the vaccination requirements based on ACIP's recommendations. As of Dec. 14, 2009, the zoster and the HPV vaccine were no longer required.

Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait me dire ce qu'il comprend avec ces articles, s'il-vous-plait?
