Hairdressing salons will also be allowed to operate from April 1st, but not beauty salons. Alphabetical order also applies to medical and paramedical services. Construction activities and public transport will be able to resume, and maids will be able to go to work. Note that the wearing of masks, social distancing and hand sanitising remain compulsory in public transport. Besides, only a limited number of passengers will be allowed aboard the metro.

Still, there's good news for sports enthusiasts and outdoor lovers! They will be able to practice sports individually. But gatherings will be limited to 5 people from April 1st.

Which are the restricted activities?

Weddings can be celebrated from April 1st with a limited number of people. As is currently the case, funerals can also be held in the presence of a limited number of people. Regarding prayer ceremonies and places of worship, only 5 people at a time will be allowed.

Markets will be able to reopen under strict sanitary conditions. Restaurants and fast food outlets will only be able to provide home delivery and ready-to-go meals until further notice. Courts will be able to resume their activities but without any assistance. As for horse races, they won't be resuming until mid-April, but they will be behind closed doors.

Regarding education, exams are currently underway in the public system, while the rest of the students are on vacation. Private schools remain closed but can provide distance education.

What activities are prohibited?

If you were waiting for the lockdown to be over to relax on the beach, you will have to wait longer. Beaches remain closed until further notice. The same applies to food courts, fairs, cinemas, bars, casinos and nightclubs. Concerts, sports competitions, as well as socio-cultural activities also remain prohibited.
