    Hi I am a 41 year old male with a wife and young daughter.
I am looking to relocate from the UK. I am currently employed by an American company and work offshore in Angola so I would not be looking for employment in any country of residence as I can work all over the world while employed by a US company and have a salary of GBP 88k per year and if I sell my house GBP 240K in the bank.

I need advice as to where is the easiest place based on my current situation to relocate my family?

This may be the wrong forum but any advice or suggestions would be great.

In your situation, many countries would be fairly easy, immigration-wise. Which countries do you already have in mind?

I like Spain, it's very civilized, good education and healthcare, EU country. Easy to find a nice pad on the beach somewhere (Barcelona, Alicante, Valencia, Malaga/Marbella) that's close to civilization and schools. While still being fairly straightforward to get a flight to Angola. The EU has a very straightforward path to permanent residence (and citizenship, if you wanted). The No Lucrativa Visa only needs 30k euros in savings (for you, plus a bit more for wife/child).

Neighbouring Portugal is also very nice with plenty of great beaches and super cities (Lisbon, Porto). They also have a very easy route to residence D7. Angola is a former Portuguese colony, so I'd imagine there's still a pretty strong connection, which might have some benefits.

If your employer would be willing to pay you gross (i.e. without deductions) then perhaps a tax-favourable location like Dubai might be interesting. It's a bit expensive, but you might be gaining on the tax side.

Another non-EU option might be Turkey. Very inexpensive, lots of nice beaches, busy airport.

Thanks for the responses. I'm looking to emigrate for a number of reason. A potentially lower tax rate, a warmer climate, the experience and  an overall better quality of life. My daughter has Talipes foot and seems the treatment seems to be better in a warmer climate. This is possible due to the muscles around her ankle not being cold all the time. Everyone is different but starting to find the UK a bit dull and depressing. With my type of work the opportunity is there so I would like to take it.

I would second @gwynj's suggestion of Spain or Portugal.  They should have everything you're looking for in terms of climate and lifestyle, and Portugal's close relationship with Angola in particular should make commuting relatively easy for you.  They have the added benefit of not being too far from friends or family in the UK.  So does Malta, and it's English-speaking, but island life can feel restricted and be dull and expensive in surprising ways, so it's not for everyone:   "try before you buy" is a good plan.

If being in an English-speaking setting is important to you, you're going to have to look farther afield.  Australia and New Zealand have everything you need, but the distance to your work would probably make them impractical.  Your daughter will require a certain level of good orthopedic care, but fortunately hers is not a particularly rare or unknown condition, so you should be able to find satisfactory care in the English-speaking Caribbean:  Jamaica, the Bahamas (not really "Caribbean" but generally grouped with them), Trinidad, etc.  Again, you'd need to reflect on the pros and cons of island living. 

On the mainland of the Americas, Costa Rica and Panamá could be ideal, and international connections to and from Panamá are very good, but they're Spanish-speaking so if language is an issue for you, you'll find it there, too.

So there are many good choices.  All the best to you!
