What does it mean when you "delete" someone's contacts: email, mobile number, home address, private phone, birthday, etc from your records- yet they are still "saved" in a secured area of your heart & mind.

How could someone, who disappeared countless seconds ago, still keep their tender gestures engraved in your heart?

for moi, it means i'm hurt and want to punish them by evicting them from my life. i'm smirking as i've done this and found the man indeed was still in my heart. silly stubborn ways...loving/wanting/needing/desiring can makes us crazy...i do believe this

i'm definitely not a lukewarm woman...i read a great book "mating in captivity" by esther pearl and i agree with her premises...one side of our nature wants to bond but another appreciates our separateness...and separateness leads to erotic intimacy...so again, the dialogue and relations stay alive...my two cents hebba

mas fred: actually i didnt press the delete button until very long time after he was gone. there was no point keeping them. they turned to be a torture weapon every time i saw the name.

Suzie, human heart does incredible things to one when it is broken, yet still hoping ;-)

hebatollah, it means you had a deep relationship and you have been with him long enough to know him well, deleteng his contact number, address or any detail about him is nothing compare to human memory. everything about him is in you, everything you know about him was engraved inside your heart and thats how people created this so called LOVE.

Deleting phones numbers and getting rid of the photos, doesn't help as long as your heart and mind are holding on the memories you had with him.

Breaking up is always hard, the best way to stop thinking about him is keeping yourself busy, with your family, with your work or study, go out with your friends and date again.

Your relationship with him is over but your life isn't, don't let sadness get to you and live in your heart, you are still young and life is full of good surprises.
