A star under your name
I have notice lately that some members have one or two stars under their names. What does that mean?
If you move your cursor over it, karma pops up. I guess the more posts you submit, the more karma you're likely to receive.
Glad you noticed (the still unofficial) changes
stars just appeared yesterday
I guess the more posts you submit, the more karma you're likely to receive.
Actually, it's a quality over quantity indicator. It doesn't depend on the number of posts, but on the quality of your posts. Of course the +1 indicator is important in our calculation.
... you should have a look to your profile > karma
Yes, I found out about that karma.
But who decide if your post is "good enough" and on what standards you get the star?
And Julian, I have never ever a plus 1 on al my posts
I guess in the end, the people who judge the quality of your postings are those who read them or those to whom you've responded. The +1 is also an indicator too.

The +1 is also an indicator too
clearly yes. And as we just launched the +1 feature, a lot of counters are close to zero - at the moment
2 stars on day 1
also note the calculation is based on your participation on the whole website and not only the forum (we've got the suitcases for that)
try posting a few articles in the guides or recommend businesses around you and you'll see the difference
It's interesting!!!
Twinkle twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are......... nice to know that I've still got karma at my age Julien. Thanks for being a real buddy!
Cheers

they creates multiple images that give an illusion of movement called animation when displayed in rapid sequence. can also be a creator of amazing CSS3 animations that run in any WebKit browser including iPhone and Android or a website designer like this, ´ó¿§¸£ÀûÓ°Ôº. i really don't know much about it.hihihi

@ Emman Lopez: well nice to meet you again!

I like your posts and by reading them I try to imagine how you look. And when I see your picture is totally different then what I have in mind.
It is not only you but by everybody who post regular.
Don't worry Emman, you're not the first to think that I am a cartoonist because of the word animator. In English it also means someone who creates excitement, livens things up. I'm a character, for sure - just not a cartoon character. hehehehe
