What do you love the most about your new land?

Here's a flip of an idea that is already on the post....the topic says it all, what do you love the most about where you are now, what will you miss when you go?

Here in Mauritius, it is definitely the sea and the white sand beaches! It's wonderful to live that close from the sea :)
It's maybe idiot, but in Germany i don't need a car, and i love it.
It's so easy to move without worrying about park place, fuel or anything else !

(PS, girls are OK too ;-))
No ones an idiot for not owning a car....on any level.聽 Glad the girls are OK too.
For me I am not sure if it is the poeple, the beaches, or the non rat race life style. But it works that is for sure.

Waw, I love so many things about France!
Freedom! I don't feel that free when I am in Angola, I feel I have to be extra careful every time I step out.
Lifestyle! I have a style of living I will be devastated to leave when the "work time" arrives! The thousands of options you have to fill your day (or not filling at all!), the hundreds of things you can see... Well, as long there is a book fair, I'm on my way ;)
Food! Besides the sea food in South Africa, I love to eat and France is *really* the place to be ;) Well, Portugal is not bad at all either! I'm fortunate enough to have travelled a lot since I am a baby, but definitely, french food rocks!
Books! I am passionate about books, that's part of me as a writer. But being able to buy huge amounts of books, I couldn't do that anywhere else than here!

I'm sure there are plenty more reasons why I crave France when I'm away, even only when it's around the corner (aka border ;))
Here in Holland I love the laid back feel (and I don't mean because of the coffee shops). Things over here just seem far less aggressive then London.
I like the most about London & UK that there is such a big diversity: people from all over the World, different cultures, shops with ingredients from any part of the Globe! If I ever move out from here I will miss it a lot...
