Where are you from? - Germany

Where are you now? - Hungary

How old are you? - 35

What is your experience Level (see Poll)? - Amateur, but selling stuff

Did you attend a Photography school? - No

Or classes? - No

Or an online course? - No

Film? - No

or Digital? - Yes

Since how many years do you shoot? - 4

What Camera(s) are you using? - Now a Nikon D300 (since May) and from time to time my trusty little Casio Ex-P505

What equipment do you use? For the Nikon right now only a Nikkor 18-200mm lens. For the Casio mainly a Raynox Macro lens. From time to time a tripod (I need a sturdier one 聳 like Manfrotto, slobber), soon a Remote control for the Nikon and that聮s about it.

I decided that for now, I do the Photography group and start learning more that way

Haha! The Open College of Arts is the sister of the Open University in the UK.

So I can do this distance learning when I have some money together. But first thing is first, I need a job and a decent camera!

I am also on Flickr and my username is lanchutt.

I am very excited about moving to Budapest in January!

Shooting for the last 30 years
B&W -> colour slides -> digital

learned by trial and error

What Camera(s) are you using?

Digital - Nilon D40聽 18-55 Nikor DX / Cannon powershoot 80
Slide - Pentax (various with various lenses)

What equipment do you use?

Picasa to organise, store and sort (not that I find pics easy...)
Gimp or Fireworks for post processing
Some gimmicks to do special effects... if needed

Are you selling your Photography?

No

Are you already in an online Photo community?

Yes, but lack of time is a slight problem

Hi NicoleB , joined the site to-day and am browsing while listening to BBC Radio 7 .... I have been told I have a good eye for photo's , not a geek , don't聽 ' fiddle ' with my pics and I have a very basic digital camera .... now trying to figure out how to include a pic here ....

Try:
Right clicking on the pic you want to share here, click "copy image code", then you click in your post here on the button (hover with your mouse over them) that says "Image:",聽 click your right mouse button again, paste the code in there, click ok (I think twice) and there you go

Yup done all that , although I don't get " copy image location " I just get copy .... I click on the image icon above then get a popup about scripted windows ....went all through that and still couldn't do it .... maybe Martin in Galicia can help ?聽 He put a couple of pics on with his post ....
