What do you do for a living?
But I really want to live as an expat, and all the posts above help in suggesting the jobs that are available for one wishing to live such a lifestyle! Any other advice would be apreciated.

You might want to post and participate in the forum of Bangalore and check out useful information there.
The Guide of life in India might also be a good source of information.
Hope this helps!

Being adaptable and acquiring new skills daily is what keep me sane as the expat spouse.
I moved with my husband to his home country Yemen and I live her now for one year. I am too trying to build a small business online. It needs some hard work, knowledge and some time, but we take things step by step. Even it will take a little while.
Because I'm a fulltime mother and housewife I can not plan my time such that I will spend hours on the net. I do have some more imporant responsabilities: my kids and my husband. Therefore I'm try to work when I have some spare time.
If you knew that I'm even at this very moment typing with 1 hand and holding my child in my other.
May God bless our kids, ameen!
We are looking for women throughout the world to host International Women's Day events in their country with The WIN! Please let me know if anyone is interested and or if you know of anyone who would!

I am, like you expanding my online presence and trying to make a go at it as a language coach. With Skype I can work with people anywhere though right now most of the people I help are in Turkey - learning Turkish. The language does not matter though. Anyway, it is challenging, but fun and the learning curve is bigger than I expected. For now I am trying to write - a lot - for the regular expat - tips, ideas, techniques for being a better, more efficient and effective language learner. I also started making YouTube videos which are gaining ground and subscribers. It is slow work, but I love helping others so it is rewarding and fun. Anyway. Good luck to you.
