Music at work with Spotify

I live in Austria and yes we have regular radio but it is bad, I don't think they have it mastered yet. In 8 hours, you can hear the same song quite a few times. You also have the commercials which get a bit repetitive hearing the same ones after every 2 songs.

Lucky for us at work (I am a chef in a restaurant) we are able to have Spotify on our music system in the kitchen.

So I am looking for new music to add to our playlist.

What do you suggest?

I found that the Discover Weekly on Spotify is a good way to find new songs you have not heard before. Lo-fi seems popular, but I personally like some modern jazz.

For a restaurant the proper music to compliment food would be ambient, cafe del mar sort of stuff and for the kitchen minimal techno or future japanese funk or try silk聽 where you get very decent listening lleasure from shingo nakamura etc.hope you likes.and a happy kitchen too.
