getting married in egypt

I am from the uk and am considering getting married in Egypt to an Egyptian Man. I have previously been married and am now divorced. I have my decree absolute will i need this translated to get married in egypt? or can i just take it in english. and has anyone else got similar experiences and how difficult is it getting married out there? Thanks

sorry, i may be stupid so did u get the paper translated before going out or did they translate them in Egypt? Did everything g ok for you?

best answer can be at the British embassy's website, look it up there. British embassy in Egypt of course.

You can get it translated in to Arabic from Egypt as they will attest it

Hi, Does my Egyptian partner need any proof of his single status and where would he get that from? I know I need to go to the Embassy and get a statutory declaration but I am not sure what my partner needs. Thanks
