last year, I found a room for my friend in a ladies hostel in new maadi, I may send u more details if ur interested in this area , in range 2000 LE
I dont know the owner but we find it via olx.com

I mean up to 1500. 1000 egp excluding bills. The cheaper the better.

You should think of sharing a flat with one or more because the rent of a furnished apartment will not be less than 2500 for defected flats. For example, I live in a furnished apartment in Faisal in Giza in the Sixth floor (last floor) without elevator and without balcony and I pay 2500 excluding bills.
I want to move to a better one near Mohandessin with elevator聽 but the rents there are not less than 5000 LE.
