Hi, my name is ALICE and i am in Nairobi with 3 months tourist with and I was wondering if I could renew it for another 3 months and apply for a study visa or聽 study permit
or I would have to go back in my country then apply for a study visa over there then come back

Hi Alice.
Generally to apply for a Student pass, you must have an admission聽 letter to a recognized institution and the following.

1.Application form(form 8) dully filled signed and stamped
2.Cover/forwarding letter from school stating the course and course duration
3.Copy of the passport 鈥� bio-data pages 鈥� visa page
4.Two passport size photos
5.Commitment letter from parent/legal guardian/sponsor
6. The institution applying must be registered as an educational establishment. If the institution is relatively new a copy of registration must be submitted together with the application.

You may extend your current status by a month or so (simply show some supporting documentation), as you sort out your admissions.
