Hello, I also have a question regarding bank transfer from Libya to our Canadian bank.We have accepted a teaching position in Tripoli and would like to transfer our salary to Canada. Can you guys guide us with this procedure. Please and Thank you.

Your employer has to give you a letter that you bring to the bank. Amman bank does transfers. All you need is to have your Canadian banking information-SORT, bank account number etc. Just ask your bank for that before you go. It all has to be set up from Libya once you arrive.聽 Just make sure from your school that they will do this for you. Otherwise you will be earning Libyan dinar & having to exchange it in country then send it out Western Union...which is another kettle of fish.聽 Western Union has limits on amounts send out at one time and per year.聽 Good luck!
