Dear Horizontal Harry,
Go suck a railroad spike.
Sincerely,
MoEl
I come from the UK where highly professional engineers are equated with car mechanics by the masses and I find it pretty refreshing to have that professionalism recognised - although I don't try to use it myself.
I have come across this previously in Germany, Italy and Austria, coutries where engineering is valued and admired.
I occasionally get "bey" after my name from my turkish colleagues which I thoroughly enjoy :-)

Well, aren't car mechanics engineers?
But i think its NOT OK that half of the ppl who introduce themselves as Engineers here do not have a recognized certificate to go with it, where some didnt even take an Engineering Course to start with.
It's like meeting an Architect the other day and she only did 2 years in university for the course. I asked her to draw something for me and she said everything is on Google Sketch. She needs internet.

Please elaborate, mancunian, what else is bothering you? Any strange voices today?

He's lucky he didn't describe himself as a Smoggie, a Monkey-Hanger or a Scouser
For the last couple hours or so, I got the best ab workout: laughing my guts off.
sandman, I'm calling my self Mancunian just dreaming to reach the first level of your superiority Mr sand.
really need a software to skip his massages in a thread...
However, as an engineer myself, i do not understand putting this up there as if prof, dr of MD.
I think that should be left for academic staff, doctors and lawyers.
and maybe just maybe clowns by birth:) hear moel?
