EOFY business tax return - DIY or use an accountant?

For those of you that have a small business, do you do it yourself online & how hard is this. Or, is it best to use an accountant. Apparently all business have to do a tax return regardless of turnover - is this correct?

Yes, all business need to submit a tax return.

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

It usually depends on the complexity of your business and transactions.

Over the years, I鈥檝e had many cases where Clients had to pay penalties and interest to the MRA , due to erroneous filings.

Hence, I would always recommend that accounts are prepared by Professional Accountants who are duly registered, as there are also lots of people who are not fully qualified that do this job for less money and they can鈥檛 be found when an issue crops up with the tax authorities.
