Mauritian Spousal visa - time permitted outside Mauritius

I am applying for a Mauritian spousal visa - I understand that this is 2 years temporary and then potentially 4 years after which I can apply for citizenship.

How much time with a spousal visa are you allowed to spend on holidays outside Mauritius without affecting your eventual application for citizenship?

What travel restrictions would apply to my Mauritian wife?

@pauldcmt hello and welcome !

I think that regardless of the time spent outside Mauritius it will "affect" well atleast taken into consideration when you will apply for citizenship. They will deduct all the days you spent abroad.

There's no travel restriction for your Mauritian wife.

i don鈥檛 think there is a restriction but they will deduct the days spend abroad when you apply for citizenship.

Hello, Sorry to jump in @vanessa do you know time requirement to stay in the country? Is it from date of civil marriage or date of residence permit? and how much is it?
