These are two different things. employees and self-employed contribute to CSG as per links given by External. CSG returns should be filed through mra website.

Depending on your monthly income and provided that you are up to date and compliant with regards to CSG contributions, you might be eligible to receive the monthly CSG allowance from the mra. you need to register and provide them with your bank details.

Thanks. So, do you mean I have to possibly pay it & then receive it? I am registered on things they told me to register on when I created BRN - eg, MRA, CBRD to pay trade fee. I wish I just got a bill for everything I have to pay so I could just pay it. Trying to do the right thing.

Hello, if you have never registered and paid CSG (Self-Employed), you need to register on the MRA website and pay CSG  :

It is better that you give them a call to enquire : 207 6000
