We do not reside in Mauritius, but from multiple excursions over the years, can highly recommend walking up Mt Pouce, which is about 4kms. There is always a lot of people on weekends. Choose a nice day without clouds, you can see the island 360 degrees from the top, amazing experience. An easy walk. Enjoy, post some photos...

If you visit Decathalon at Bagatelle you can for 700rs get a book on all the trails available in Mauritius and then you can see what ones you are suitable for.聽 Everyone will give you suggestions based on their own experiences and not about the grade and distance of each trail.聽 Also a handy guide book is useful as often alternative to climbing rocks etc will be provided.

Yes, it's a good idea to have a guidebook. I never knew this information.聽 Sure, I will buy one when I visit Decathlon, Bagatelle.

Could you please tell me whether the same will be available at Decathlon, Beau Plan? because I'm living near to that (botanical garden)

Thanks for your suggestions,

Yesterday, i went for a hike at Sophie Nature walk and Cascade 500 Pieds with my colleague.

It was amazing and refreshing as well. It was the first time for me to stand at the cliff and enjoy the falls.
