Gel Nails and Make Up

We are relocating back to Mauritius in August.
My wife will open a small salon for Gel nails and make up and will also travel to your place if needed.
What is the demand for Gel Nails (Nail Art etc) on the Island?

hi johan well聽 let me tell you that nail art聽聽 has not yet been really introduced in mauritius and the demand聽 is generally low.I can tell you聽 that聽 its only聽 when someone is going out in an event that聽聽she can聽 go to the salon but if聽 it s a聽 hairdresser s聽 salon then it will聽 be good.

im actually back to mauritius and used to have my nails done every 3-4 weeks in dublin loved gel nails..and i would love to continue doing it and find a good technician with good services and products and really affordable prices..im based in curepipe and im looking for the plaine wilhems region..if anyone knows someone do let me know..

Absolute high quality products (medical-based resin) and as much as bio-compatible to your natural nails. And of course, nail art is part of the repertoire...

@vikvishal, personally I think that the quality of nail art available is still a bit low but it is improving...

Permanent gel nail varnish is still a fairly new concept in Mauritius but they are becoming more widely available. Brands such as Shellac and Gelish are around, however it is in the expertise of application that I have found a problem. Then there is a charge for removal as well which I found really strange as never got charged this in the UK.

After much searching ( and various degrees of nail appearance!)聽 I would recommend the nail salon at Bagatelle mall.
Good value, fast service and an excellent clean salon overall.
