I am looking to buy a farm in Mauritius and to start a guest farm
Where on the island is the best
Who is a good agent
What sort of price can I expect to pay
What are the restrictions around South Africans purchasing land
Who can I contact about brining plants and animals into the country

I look forward to hearing from any ex pats in Mauritius who have experience

I am not sure about the steps of purchasing land (maybe someone else can help her?). Also land will be expensive...especially for a farm.

What kind of animals do you want to farm?

I think I only know of聽 consulate in Pretoria. I will apply for my Mauritian ID this year but they said it is easier to apply for the passport in SA.
