youngsters in a seafront apartment ? Well, not sure about this ... seafront apartments are pretty expensive

what about a living scenario like a digs like setup...like a few contributing to the rent...were do most of the independent expat youngsters stay anyway..thanks for the prompt replies btw...you do a great job managing this forum

Try posting in the classified, who knows you might get lucky. Most single/youngster expats I know live in Quatre Bornes. I can ask them.

lol...i hope so...i know of QB...its so residential though..whats the social life like?...any help would be much appreciated alisaram...i see your comments in many of the forums...you are quite learned and im sure many of us are in your gratitude....thanks

I know lots of youngsters here on internship are at Pointe au Canonier, a residential complex by a german guy. Its quite decent, but more like a dorm atmosphere

Nightlife in QB isn't that great.(If you compare it to elsewhere).

But amenities are available and you can get to anywhere in Mauritius from QB (M1 to the North or South), 20 minutes drive to Flic en Flac (after peak hours), if you live in Sodnac (which is where most expats live in QB) it takes 5 to 10 minutes to reach ebene,where you can go for a drink at the Sheraton. Shopping malls pretty much everywhere around.

Depends on what kind of "nightlife" you're looking for! If you're more pub,beer, ice cream parlour or clubbing type?

Quatre Bornes is Ok. Tamarin or Flic en flac, am not sure,not a big fan of beach fronts! But nightlife is ok there.

Have you found a flatmate yet? I can ask around in QB but I don't know anyone in the coastal regions.

Am for QB, coz its proximity to bars, hotel, ice cream parlour, shopping malls etc... It's up to you to decide where you want to go.

Yeah ideally would like to be at the coast but coz of work ,QB wouldn't be that bad coz one of my service hospitals (Victoria) is there..so yeah if you can plz ask around...that would be great!!
