Today 12th March,聽 we celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Independence and our 30th anniversary as the聽 Republic of Mauritius.聽 Independence Day holds a special place in all our hearts wherever we come from.聽 Best wishes to everyone on this special day.

Here's a documentary of Mauritius Independence day preparation back in 1968. The island was struggling with riots .聽 We were then a British colony. (1810 - 1968)聽 (158 yrs)
