Hello, I'm planning to study in Mauritius but I'm planning to bring my husband who if an accountant. He is worried about not being able to find a job in his field. Are accounting jobs difficult to find? He works in industry not in financial services.

Accounting jobs are not hard to find, however, it depends on the accounting system. I suggest that he goes through the vacancies posted on different platforms to check what is needed.

They are not hard to find but also do not forget that you have locals too who are qualified too, so increased competition. Most accountants do not earn as much as you would expect them as the economy is extremely small.
