Moving to Morocco. Tangier or Rabat?

Hi! I am planning to move to Morocco in a couple of months and I am stuck between moving to Tangier or Rabat. Both seem beautiful. I am looking for a beach and a not so crowded lifestyle. I am not too picky, I just want to live in a nice city with nice views and open-minded people.

Please share why you would choose Tangier over Rabat or the other way around.

One year later..........

Tangier. Without the slightest doubt.
It also happens to be the safest city in the entire country.

I recently moved to Rabat and feel safe to say that Tangier is not one of the best but The Best city !
