I've only been in Dakar for 6 months so I can't say if prices have increased compared to 2016.
However, like other African countries where I've lived before, food prices vary a lot between shops and brands, i.e. if you want to purchase international brands versus smaller / local brands.
Please find below responses to your various questions:

> How much does it cost to rent an apartment/house in Senegal?聽
In Dakar it can be anything between 250,000 FCFA (400 Euros) to 2,500,000 FCFA / month (4,000 Euros) depending on location, but also how recent the building is

> How much do you pay for your public transport tickets (bus, subway, train, tram)?
Taxis are cheap in Dakar but you need to bargain. For instance I live close to the airport and it costs me about 4 Euros to go to Plateau (center of town)

> Staple food: what do people eat and how much do they pay for basic food like bread, rice or pasta?
Senegalese eat a lot of rice, but due to French influence you have a lot of French bakeries around selling nice cakes and baguettes, which are cheap

> How much does it cost to see a physician/doctor/specialist in Senegal ?聽
It is about 25,000FCFA, i.e just under 40 Euros

> What is your children's schooling monthly budget?
N/A

> How much does it cost to fill up your car鈥檚 fuel tank?
N/A

> How much do you pay for electricity/gas/water etc.?
I don't use AC so my electricity bill is cheap.
For cooking, you use gas cylinder

> How much do you pay for your Internet/phone subscription?
Internet is about 40 Euros / month

> How much do you pay for your lunch pack on weekdays?
N/A

> How much do you pay for an espresso coffee?
It's about 1,000 FCFA, i.e. 1.5 Euros in a cafe, but will be easily double in a hotel

> How much do you pay for a cinema ticket?
DK

> How much does a gym membership cost in Senegal?
I pay per class, which is about 4 Euros
Otherwise it depends from gym location, but you can find nice ones for around 40 Euros / month
