Divorce after Seychelles marriage

Hello,
I got married in the Seychelles 5 months ago and it needed almost immediately.
I am living in the uae and the certificate was never stamped here.
I am British and he was American.
How do we even begin to process a divorce?
I鈥檝e read I need to own property in Seychelles ? Any advise welcome

Hi. Sorry to hear that the fire is over so soon. If you are residing in UAE - you can file for divorce in UAE court. But you would need to legalize the marriage certificate first in UAE; which is not a big deal. Cheers Peter

Hi
I got married in Seychelles 3 years ago and my husband left me after 3 days married and after 3 months of married we agreed to divorce, I鈥檓 Indonesian and he鈥檚 Egyptian, it鈥檚 being so hard to get divorce here while you haven鈥檛聽 his address and he鈥檚 disappearing , I鈥檓 Seychelles resident and his not and please advise me how I get divorce when I don鈥檛 have anything from him and how鈥檚 the paperwork will goes?
