No idea, but one of the best known Indonesian musicians and guitarists is Dewa Budjana rom Bali who I have seen a couple of times.

Sorry for the late reply, but as the old saying goes, better late than never.

A couple of suggestions.聽 First would be my dear friend Putu, of Kis Band Bali.聽 You can enjoy one of his songs here, and search Google for many more.

The other suggestion would be my cousin, the only holder of a doctorate degree in ethnomusicology in Indonesia, (University of Illinois), Professor Doctor I Wayan Dedik Rachman.聽 His expertise is in traditional Balinese music.

Since you say that you're on your way over here in the near future, that is good, because neither of these gentlemen are very good at answering e-mails.
