Hi Uday,

To be honest your question is very difficult to answer as I have no idea what size of place you are looking for nor what location. Yokohama is a huge area!

If you are looking to stay in a place the same size as mine - I live in a 44 square meter apartment in the suburbs of Tokyo - you can expect to pay anything between 120,000 to 200,000 yen on average depending on the age of the building and what is included in your monthly rent.

Remember as well that in Japan you usually need to pay key money and a deposit - unless you can find a rental agency that doesn't charge -  which can mean your first payment may be for up to 6 months rent in advance - 2 or 3 of those will never be returned to you - they are a gift to the person renting to you - go figure!
