Taxi fares within KL city

Please give me some idea about the approx taxi fares within the KL city. For example if I go from Aloft hotel to KLCC, how much will be the fare. If I go from Aloft Hotel to KL tower,..fare ! If I go from KLCC to Bukit Bintang...how much will a taxi charge! If I come from Air port to Traders hotel...fare !
About the rails, please educate me as I guess there are two types of rails moving within the city. What is the difference between these two and do they cover different areas. Is travelling by rail is advisable and will it be more economical. Thanks

within 20 bucks from one place to another. insist on meter fare. for train fares, check at the counter.

from airport to city it will probably cost u around RM80-RM100, check out at the taxi counters before the exit.

well the fares are reasonable but the taxi drivers are gonna rip you off just because you are a foreigner.

So you mean I should avoid travelling a taxi while being with my family !

Well malaysian subway.train system is really good too. You should take a chance on that. Well you can also negotiate with the drivers if you wanna take taxi.tell them to go by meter .
