Employment pass status IMM: Decision stage

Hi, I am working in malaysia since 2018, recently I changed my job and my new employer is processing my new ep, its been submitted for stage 1 with mdec in January and from past 1(Feb 4) month聽 the status is showing as IMM decision stage. I got this status info from my employer. How long it will take to get approved in this Mco?

Can take max 3 weeks (15 working days). If it takes more than that, you can ask immigration/mdec for update.

it should be very quick after the decision stage, if they need more document, it will say" application returned to the company"

we are on the same boat....

have u got ur EP application approved by immigration?

my employer submitted mine on 4-February-2021...and it still being pending for immigration decision

Mine was approved on March 9.

Time taken to get approved from imm decision stage : ~4weeks

on The ESD home page there is a button to check status. You will need the company registration number and your passport no to see the status if you are applying thru ESD.

How do I take the employment pass of the employer does not willing to provide visa.They only give me the job.

The employment pass must be completed by the employer.

If you're not coming on an employment pass then what visa are you coming on? Are you legally allowed to work on that visa (probably not)

Hello

I am currently waiting for my wife鈥檚 Dependent Pass (DP) approval in Malaysia. The application was resubmitted on January 20, 2025, along with the requested document, and the status shows "IMM: Decision stage" from Jan 24, 2025. However, there has been no further update from Immigration.

Has anyone else experienced delays at this stage? How long did it take for your DP approval after resubmitting documents?
